My mini pig, Poppy, was injured a couple of weeks ago on a Saturday and was  just lying there. She wouldn’t eat and she wouldn’t move. I was very concerned and I called 10 veterinary clinics Sunday morning trying to find someone to help her. They all told me the same thing, “Let me check—-Our doctor doesn’t treat pigs!” I was so upset and frustrated.

Then I called Dr. Rivera at Total Care Mobile Veterinary Practice and she said she had experience with pigs and would be here soon. She examined Poppy and was so great with her! Dr. Rivera determined her left rear leg was injured, and prescribed pain meds and anti-inflammatory meds. Within two days Poppy was putting weight on her leg and eating and drinking. She has made a full recovery is is doing great:)

In addition, Dr. Rivera texted me several times the following week to check on Poppy’s progress, which I really appreciated.

I definitely give Dr. Rivera five out of five stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for her knowledge and empathy, and highly recommend her for your pet’s needs.
